Hyundai DVD-320A
Converting the player to Multi-Region (newer firmware):
1. Press 7, 7 on the remote.
2. Press Play.
3. You should now be in a hidden menu.
4. Using the Up and Down buttons on your remote control, highlight the Country
Code option.
5. Press Enter.
6. Using your remote control, press the 1 button for region 1, 2 for region 2,
and so on, or 0 for multi-region playback.
7. Press Enter.
8. Press Play.
Alternatively, try:
1. Ensure there is no DVD in the player.
2. Press 7, 7.
3. Press "0" (0 = region-free, or enter the number of the region required).
Converting the player to Multi-Region (older firmware):
1. Press Open/Close on your remote control to open the disc tray
2. Press 3.
3. Press 8.
4. Press 0.
5. Press 0.
6. Press Menu.
7. Press Arrow buttons on your remote control to change the region to 1 for
region 1, 2 for region 2, and so on
8. Press Enter.
9. Press Menu.
Hyundai DM-350
1. Open the player's tray.
2. Press Setup on your Remote Control
3. Go to the sub-menu "Custom Setup" by pressing the right arrow on your Remote
4 times
4. Press 3, 3, 3 and 3.
5. You should be taken into a new menu entitled "Secret1 Menu".
6. Select 0 for region free.
7. Press Setup.
Hyundai HDP-550S
1. Press Open/Close on the remote.
2. Press Stop.
3. Press 1, 9, 9 and 9.
4. You should now be in a secret menu.
5. Press Enter.
6. Select the All option for multi-region playback.
7. Press Enter.
8. Press Play.
Hyundai HDV-2000
1. Open the player's tray.
2. Place a disc in the tray but don't close it.
3. Press Enter on the Remote.
4. Press Play.
5. Press 2, 5 and 8.
6. Press 1 for Region 1, 2 for Region 2, 4 for Region 4 etc. on your Remote
Control.
7. An error message will appear, after this your machine should be set the
region specified.
8. Play your disc.
Hyundai HU-2010
1. Open the player's tray.
2. Press Setup on your Remote Control
3. Go to the sub-menu "Custom Setup" by pressing the right arrow on your Remote
3 times
4. Press 3, 3, 3 and 3.
5. You should be taken into a new menu entitled "Secret1 Menu".
6. Select 0 for region free.
7. Press Setup.
GE Digital GE1105P
1. Power on the player and ensure tray is empty.
2. Hold down Play and Stop together, on the player panel, to cold boot.
3. You should see a set of language options. Release the PLAY and STOP
buttons.
4. Select your language.
5. Press Repeat then the following codes for the required region the player is
already set to (region you bought the player in):
Region 1 - 2, 9, 3, 3, 4
Region 2 - 3, 8, 7, 6, 7
Region 3 - 5, 6, 7, 3, 2
Region 4 - 7, 6, 8, 8, 4
Region 5 - 5, 3, 8, 1, 4
Region 6 - 2, 4, 4, 6, 2
6. A code will appear, indicating the region setting of your player.
7. Press 9 for region-free, or 1 for region 1, 2 for region 2, etc.
8. Press Open/Close on the Player to open the disc tray.
9. Press Standby (Power) on the remote control to close the tray.
If the player sticks on FBI warning screens, press Forward Search x2 or faster.
The disc should then skip straight to the main feature.
Region 1 players may not skip to main feature by the fast forward method.
Genica Kalua GN-800
1. Press Open/Close, Zoom, A-B, Up, Left, Down on the remote control.
Converting to Multi-Region if the above does not work:
1. Eject the player's tray.
2. Press 2, 1, 8, 0 on the remote.
3. Press 9 for region free (or region number).
To disable Macrovision:
1. Open the player's tray.
2. Press 4, 5, 6, 1, followed by 1 for Macrovision off, or 0 for Macrovision on.
Genica Kalua GPX-DV2000
Converting to Multi-Region if the above does not work:
1. Eject the player's tray.
2. Press 2, 1, 8, 0 on the remote.
3. Press 9 for region free (or region number).
To disable Macrovision:
1. Open the player's tray.
2. Press 4, 5, 6, 1, followed by 1 for Macrovision off, or 0 for Macrovision on.

1. Turn on the player.
2. Open the system tray.
3. Press Setup.
4. Highlight Custom on the Setup menu.

1. Press Play 8 times. (May actually need to be pressed at least 9 or 10
times)
2. When you see a code come on in the upper left corner of the TV screen, Press
0, 1, 0, 6, and 9 for region free.
3. 9 should appear on the TV screen.
4. Wait until at least 5 seconds after this 9 disappears from your TV screen.
Go-Video DVR-4100
Enable VCD Playback:
1. Power on the player with no disk in the drive.
2. Press Pause on the remote.
3. Press 1 ,4, 7, 2 on the remote.
4. Press UP arrow three times.
5. Press Program, 5, Program, 5 (the characters 04 EE should now be
displayed).
6. Press Enter (the display should flash briefly).
7. Press Return.
8. Power the player off and then back on.
9. Play a VCD!
Go-Video DVR-4200
Enable VCD Playback:
1. Power on the player with no disk in the drive.
2. Press Pause on the remote.
3. Press 1 ,4, 7, 2 on the remote.
4. Press UP arrow three times.
5. Press Program, 5, Program, 5 (the characters 04 EE should now be
displayed).
6. Press Enter (the display should flash briefly).
7. Press Return.
8. Power the player off and then back on.
9. Play a VCD!
This may not work on some models.
Goodmans GDVD-67LCD
1. Press Setup on your remote control.
2. Press Next.
NB: If steps 2 thru 5 have no effect, try the equivalent buttons on the player
itself.
3. Press Prev.
4. Press Next.
5. Press Prev.
6. A code should appear on the onscreen display.
7. Using the direction buttons on your remote control, change the code to VER
255 for multi-region playback.
8. Press Setup.
Converting to Multi-Region if the above does not work: (with additional
options)
1. Press Setup on your remote control.
2. Press Next.
NB: If steps 2 thru 5 have no effect, try the equivalent buttons on the player
itself.
3. Press Prev.
4. Press Next.
5. Press Prev.
6. A code should appear on the onscreen display.
7. Using the direction buttons on your remote control, change the code to VER
255 for multi-region playback.
NB: You may need to use the up and down buttons to select the region option
before you change it.
8. Press Down once and change the code to VER 3001 to enable parental controls,
or VER 3000 to disable these controls.
NB: You may need to use the up and down buttons to select the parental controls
option before you change it.
9. Press Down once more and change the code to VER 4001 to enable Macrovision,
or VER 4000 to disable this feature.
NB: This option does not work for the player, which is actually a clone of the
Mustek V56S.
10. Press Down once again and change the code to VER 5001 to disable VCD/SVCD
playback, or VER 5000 to enable this feature.
NB: You may need to use the up and down buttons to select the VCD/SVCD playback
option before you change it.
11. Press Setup.
12. Press Setup.
Goodmans DVD-100D
1. Ensure there is no disc in the player
2. Press Setup, Menu, Step, Previous and Next on the remote control
3. A service menu should appear
4. Select the required region or use Bypass for region free.
Goodmans DVD-107R
1. Open the the player disc tray.
2. Press 9, 8, 1 and 7 on the Remote.
3. You will now be in the hidden menu.
4. Select the region by pressing Enter. (9 is region free).
5. You can also disable Macrovision from this screen.
NB: If your TV does not support NTSC, you can also set the output to PAL from
this screen.
Goodmans DVD-124
1. Open the the player disc tray.
2. Press 7 and 4 on the Remote Control. If this doesn't work, you may have to
enter the digits 7 and 7 instead.
3. Press Enter,
4. Scroll down to Country Code and using the Select button, choose any Region
between 1 and 6, or select 13 for Region free.
5. Press Return to exit the menu.
Goodmans DVD-125
1. Turn on the player and Open disc tray.
2. Press Setup.
3. Select Custom.
4. Press 3, 3, 3, 3 and 3.
5. This opens the secret settings menu offering Regions 0-6 (choose 0 for
Region free).
Goodmans DVD-130
1. Turn on the player and Open disc tray.
2. Press Setup.
3. Select Custom.
4. Press 3, 3, 3, 3 and 3.
5. This opens the secret settings menu offering Regions 0-6 (choose 0 for
Region free).
Goodmans GDVD-131
1. Press Setup on the Remote Control.
2. Press Vol+.
3. Press Vol-.
4. Press Vol+.
5. Press Vol-.
6. The onscreen display should show "VER #" indicating the currently Region
setting
Using the Left and Right cursor keys, Change the region code. 255 is region
free.
7. Press Setup.
Goodmans GDVD-134
1. Turn on the player and Open disc tray.
2. Press Setup.
3. Press 2, 8, 1, 2 and Enter.
4. This gets you to the engineers menu.
5. Press Down until you reach COUNTRY CODE and press Enter.
6. The current region code will change to four dashes (----).
7. Input one number (0=Region Free, 1=USA 2=Europe, etc) and press Enter again.
8. The new region code will now be displayed. You can exit by just pressing the
Eject button once more.
Enabling VCD playback:
1. Turn On the player and place a VCD on the tray.
2. Press Close, Menu and 5 on the front panel.. at the same time press 5 on the
remote.
This should load and play the disc. If the disc fails to play then press 0, 0,
0, 1 and the disc should then play.
Goodmans GDVD-135
1. Turn on the player and Open disc tray.
2. Press Setup.
3. Press 2, 8, 1, 2 and Enter.
4. This gets you to the engineers menu.
5. Press Down until you reach COUNTRY CODE and press Enter.
6. The current region code will change to four dashes (----).

4. Select the region by pressing Enter. (9 is region free).

1. Open the the player disc tray.

1. Ensure there is no disc in the player

Goodmans DVD-3000
1. Press Menu.
2. Press 1, 6, 7 on your remote control.
3. The key region box will pop up.
4. Key in the region you want.
5. Press Mute.
Converting this player to enable VCD playback:
1. Insert a music CD
2. Press Menu, 5 and Eject on the remote control
3. The tray should stay closed
4. Press 1, Index, Menu and Eject on the remote
5. A menu should now appear
6. Press 1 to enable VCD playback
Goodmans DVD-3500PK
1. Open the the player disc tray.
2. Press 9, 8, 1 and 7 on the Remote.
3. You will now be in the hidden menu.
4. Select the region by pressing Enter. (9 is region free).
5. You can also disable Macrovision from this screen.
NB: If your TV does not support NTSC, you can also set the output to PAL from
this screen.
NBB: If this hack does not work, try Pressing 8, 9, 1, and 7 in step 2.
Goodmans DVD-3600PKT
1. Power on the player and Open the tray
2. Press 8, 1, 3, 2, 8.
3. Press Enter until you highlight 9 (Multi-Region).
4. Press Play.
5. The machine is permanently multi-region.
Enabling VCD playback:
1. Turn On the player and place a VCD on the tray.
2. Press Close, Menu and 5 on the front panel.. at the same time press 5 on the
remote.
This should load and play the disc. If the disc fails to play then press 0, 0,
0, 1 and the disc should then play.
Goodmans DVD-5000
1. Put the player into Standby
2. Press 0, 0 on the remote control
3. Press 1 for region 1, 2 for region 2 etc.
4. To verify the current region press 0, 0 and +10 to indicate the region on
the front panel.
Goodmans GDV-100D
1. Ensure there is no disc in the player
2. Press Setup, Menu, Step, Previous and Next on the remote control
3. A service menu should appear
4. Select the required region or use Bypass for region free.
Goodmans GDV-124
1. Open the the player disc tray.
2. Press 7 and 4 on the Remote Control. If this doesn't work, you may have to
enter the digits 7 and 7 instead.

1. Press the DVD function on your TV set.

4. Immediately press the Left Arrow button on your remote control three times.
5. Immediately press the Right Arrow button on your remote control once.
6. The on-screen display should now show the word VERSION.
7. Select this option and using your remote control, change it to 1 for region
1, 2 for region 2, and so on, or 0 for multi-region playback.
To convert this player to Multi-Region if the above does not work:
1. Press the DVD function on your TV set.
2. Press Stop on your TV set.
3. Press 1, 9, 9 and 9 on the remote in order, one at a time.

1. Press the DVD function on your TV set.
2. Press Setup on your remote control.

1. Eject the player's tray.
2. Press 8, 9, 2, and 6 on the remote.
3. Press 0 for region free (or a region number).
To disable Macrovision:
1. Eject the player's tray.
2. Press 4, 5, 6 and 1 on the remote.
3. Press 1 to Turn off Macrovision, or turn it on again by pressing 0.
This does not work for some. Macrovision may not work.
Gradiente 6500
1. Turn the player on and ensure there is no disc in the tray.
2. Press 0, 0, followed by the region number required, or use Clear for region
free.
Gradiente 6500HT
1. Turn the player on and ensure there is no disc in the tray.
2. Press 0, 0, followed by the region number required, or use Clear for region
free.
Gradiente D-10
1. Turn the player on and ensure there is no disc in the tray.
2. Press 3, 1, 4, 1, 5, 9, 0 and 0 on the remote.
3. Press Exit.
4. You should receive a message in English and the machine is now in Region Free
mode.
Converting to Multi-Region if the above does not work:
1. Turn the player on and ensure there is no disc in the tray.
2. Press 0, 0, followed by the region number required, or use Clear for region

1. Turn the player on and ensure there is no disc in the tray.
2. Press 3, 1, 4, 1, 5, 9, 0 and 0 on the remote.

1. Turn the player on and ensure there is no disc in the tray.
2. Press 0, 0, followed by the region number required, or use Clear for region

1. Turn the player on and ensure there is no disc in the tray.
2. Press 0, 0, followed by the region number required, or use Clear for region
free.
Gradiente DVD-5000
Verify your current region code setting:
1. Press 00 and +10 a led will blink number of region.
2. With player off (stand-by mode) - Press 00 and the region code desired.
Note: You can verify your present region setting by pressing 00 and +10.
the front panel display will flash the current region setting
Advantage: easy, free
Disadvantage: you can only change the region code! NOT region free!
Converting to Multi-Region if the above does not work:
1. Put the player into standby.
2. Press 0, 0.
3. For region 1 press '1'. For region 2 press '2'. For any other region press
the corresponding key on the remote.
Your player is now set to that region only. To play a disc from an alternative
region reset the player to the desired region.
Gradiente K-30
1. Turn the player on and ensure there is no disc in the tray.
2. Press 3, 1, 4, 1, 5, 9, 0 and 0 on the remote.
3. Press Exit.
4. You should receive a message in English and the machine is now in Region Free
mode.
Converting to Multi-Region if the above does not work:
1. Turn the player on and ensure there is no disc in the tray.
2. Press 0, 0, followed by the region number required, or use Clear for region
free.
Graetz AV-250n
1. Power on the Player.
2. Press Open/Close.
3. Press 3, 3, 0, 8, 8, 0 .
4. Press Open/Close.
Once you turn the machine off it reverts to the original setting.
Graetz AV-330I
1. Press Open to open the tray.
2. Press Intro, 2, 0, 1 and 1.
3. Press 0 for region free (or region umber required).
4. Press Close and then play the disc.
Once you turn the machine off it reverts to the original setting.
Converting to Multi-Region if the above does not work:
1. Press Open.
2. Press Setup.
3. Press 1 3 6 9
4. Press < < <
5. Press >
6. version will open
7. Enter version and change region.
Setting stays after power off!
Grundig GCV-720HT
1. Power on the player and Open the tray.
2. Press 8, 1, 3, 2 and 8.
3. Press Enter until you highlight 9 (Multi-Region).
Grundig GDV-100D
NOTE: Please note that this conversion may only work a maximum of 25 times! And
after this time the machine may end up locked to the last region changed to.
To play a Region 1 DVD on this player:
1. Press Play, 2, 7 and 4 on your remote control. The onscreen display should
look like this: '____ ____'.
2. Press 0, 0, 5, 0, 0, 0, 1, 2, 8, 1, 5, 6 on the remote.
3. Press Play.
4. The onscreen display should turn red, indicating that your region settings
have been changed.
Converting the player back to Region 2 mode:
NOTE: Please note that this conversion may only work a maximum of 25 times! And
after this time the machine may end up locked to the last region changed to.
1. Press Play, 2, 7 and 4 on your remote control. The onscreen display should
look like this: '____ ____'.
2. Press 0, 0, 2, 0, 0, 0, 1, 2, 8, 1, 5, 6 on the remote.
3. Press Play.
4. The onscreen display should turn red, indicating that your region settings
have been changed.
To reset the player to its original factory settings and Region 2 playback:
NOTE: This has only been tested on the Philips 710. There is an outside chance
this may also get round the 25 region change limit, but will not unlock a region
locked machine.
1. Press Play, 1, 5 and 9 on your remote control. The onscreen display should
look like this: '____ ____'.
2. Press 0, 0, 4, 0, 0, 1, 0, 0, 0, 1, 4, 0 on the remote..
3. Press Play..
4. The onscreen display should return to the original Philips splash screen,
all settings will be reset back to factory defaults.
This does not always work!
Grundig GDVD-125
1. Open the drive tray.
2. Press Setup on your remote control.
3. From the Setup Menu highlight the Custom Setup option.
4. Press the buttons 3, 3, 3 and 3 on your remote control in order, one at a
time.
5. You should now be in a hidden menu where you may change the region to 1 for
region 1, 2 for region 2, and so on.
Grundig GDV-130
Converting the player to Multi-Region (newer firmware):
1. Press Open on the Remote.
2. Press Setup.
3. Press 9 button on the Remote for Region Free, or 1 for Region 1, 2 for
Region 2, and so on
4. Press buttons 2, 0, 0 and 0.
5. Press Step.
6. Press Shuffle.
7. Press Next.
To check the current region setting of this player on later firmware versions,
press the following button in order from the Remote Control:
1. Press Open.
2. Press Setup.
3. Press Shuffle.
4. Press Step.
5. Press Next.
6. A secret menu will appear, inside which you can scroll down until the words
Debug Item appears. This is where the current region status is displayed.
Converting the player to Multi-Region (older firmware):
